July 3rd 2009

Today we went to the fireworks show in Eatonville with my mom and sister. Hailey got an early Birthday present....a wagon! She absolutely loves it! It was a long wait for the fireworks. I was worried about how she would do with them but it was all for nothing. Hailey loved them. They did a very good job with the show.

Nice, busy weekend

I was so excited to have this weekend off!! The weather was gorgeous! On Saturday we went to the parade in Orting. Hailey was very good through the whole thing even dancing for a few bands. The motorcycles scared her but the pirates cannon did not. She got her first walker at the new house and loves it. She can only go backwards though. On Sunday we went to see the Easter bunny. She did good until she looked at him. The highlight of the weekend was when she fed the horse. I put the first piece of hay in her hand and held it up for the horse. Once he started eating it her face lit up!

We look forward to the summer now!

At the zoo

Hailey went to the zoo for the first time today. We went with her friend Ashlyn and family. She really enjoyed the sea life habitats and the anteaters. I really enjoyed the polar bears who were having a blast in the water. All of the animals were loving this nice Spring day. We couldn't have picked a better day to go to the zoo. 7 months!

Our baby is 7 months old today! Time sure does fly. Here are some pictures from today.

First trip to the park

Hailey went to the park for the first time last week. She really did not care for it probably because of how cold it was. We found a great little park about 5 minutes away. When the weather gets a little better we will go back. The park has most of the great toys but no merry go round. Come on nice weather so we can go back!

6 month and Easter photos

We took Hailey to the Wal-mart in South Hill this time for photos. We all loved it there and had a great time. The woman really took her time with us and got some great shots. I really love the dress my mom got for her. We will definitely be going back for her one year pictures. Here are just a few of the shots...

First snow

1st Christmas

Her first Christmas was a special one! It was a white Christmas! She was such a great girl the whole day. We got up to open presents at Grandma and Grandpa Farrar's house around 4am. I think she was loving having so many people up that early....usually it is just the two of us. Once we were done there we tried to go home to open more presents. That was not fun! We could not get out of the driveway, so they let us borrow a car. My mom was able to make it over to open presents and we ate breakfast.

She got lots of presents! Some special ones were: a personalized bear with a little blanket, a Cabbage Patch doll with her same name and birthday, and a 2008 Holiday Barbie.
